Idle Acres - Warren & Baerg Featured Customer Oct 25, 2012  Warren & Baerg would like to introduce you to one of our customers, Idle Acres, owned by Dr. Harlan Anderson, DVM.
Idle Acres is located in Cokato, Minnesota and specialize in the production of quality alfalfa/grass products for Next Generation, Happy Horse, Equine Winner and Senior Supper for horse owners.
Idle Acres produces a variety of products with one being a Cubed Total Mixed Ration aimed for all horses. Different formulas have been developed for the different needs of the horse. The name of the products are Square Meal Feeds and can be found at their website www.squaremealfeeds.com.
It is Idle Acres intention to bring the same good science based nutrition to horses as dog food had done for our canine friends.
The Total Mixed Ration is a combination of different types of alfalfa and different types of grass. Necessary minerals and vitamins are added to make a science based complete diet for the horse.
A major breakthrough came with the use of the Warren Baerg 250 Cuber. Many attempts have been made in the past to develop a Total Mixed Ration for horses and ruminants. The past efforts have failed to address the need for long stem fibers that are required by horses and ruminants in the Total Mixed Rations.
This has allowed the total mixed ration to be formulated and presented to the horse in a way that they cannot separate the different ingredients. Another benefit of the Warren Baerg cubed Total Mixed Ration is that it is a lot more convenient for the horse owner to feed and travel with.
